25 Weeks

Yes! You heard correctly! Sadie turned 25 weeks today. She is just 1 week away from being half a year! And the best thing happened this past week... Sadie is starting to enjoy riding in her carseat! About a month ago, I switched her to a Britax convertible car seat. Although the car seat is awesome, and much easier to use than her bucket Graco, it didn't do the magic trick I thought it would. I have also tried toys, mirrors, and a DVD player, but none kept to attention longer than about 5 minutes. This past week I downloaded a Baby Genius CD called 123 Favorite Kids songs. I thought it was just the title, but it is literally 123 songs(but thats a whole other post). I play it at home when she is happy and playing and then play it in the car and she loves it! She has made it to the Mall, Athens, and even the Lake House with only a few minor fussing. I am in Mommy heaven! She is also sitting so much more, although she is still working on her balance. She does well in a shopping cart and high chair. She loves eating her own solids when we go out to dinner. She also wants to touch anything and everything. If she gets to hold it, 90% of things go in her mouth. Still no teeth in site, but she has been "teething" for a while. I am so proud of the little personality that she is developing.
