31 Weeks

Miss Sadie is 31 Weeks today. Where has the time gone? She becoming so much fun, and the best part is this past week she started "army" crawling! She loves to be in her walker and literally does laps around the kitchen island. It's great for getting chores done.

She is also eating really well now. Beyond the pureed baby foods, I give her a cookie or baby rice cake at dinner time or if we are out at lunch and it is a great distraction so Mommy can eat her food.

Her hair is starting to come in more, although she is still mostly bald, but it looks like it is going to be a light brown.

We tried the nursery at church again this week and she didn't make it past 15 minutes:-( I think when she is in there, she has a tendency to rub her eyes when she is bored and they may think she is tired and will try to put her in the swing(which she hates) or to rock her to sleep when she has just had a nap. But I am going to keep on trying, because I think it is good for her to have exposure to different people. We did have swim lessons again today and Sadie did wonderful! We skipped Humpty Dumpty and that seemed to satisfy her enough to spend the rest of the class kicking around and even did a few dips submerged under the water completely!

Sadie has also started to love books. Before she would look at them for a minute then move on to something else. Just this week, she will now sit in our laps very still while we read to her. Her favorite are the "Touch and Feel" books.
