So a big Thank you that will never be enough for those Soldiers and their families for giving the ultimate sacrifice. Never to be forgotten.

Happy Memorial Day!
Excited as part of Steve's unit was welcomed home this past weekend and counting down the days until Steve returns. I was a little, okay, a lot upset when Steve was not on the Advon flight since he left 3 weeks early with only a week notice going over to Afghanistan. But this weekend has reminded me of those families that did not get to see their solider come home. They never got to smell or touch or hug their soldier again. They didn't get to stand still with all their might as all the soldiers march across the field only to burst into a run moments later. They instead received a folded up Flag with the highest dignity and respect. And this is why I am able to pull through these past few weeks, knowing that Steve will be coming home soon.
So a big Thank you that will never be enough for those Soldiers and their families for giving the ultimate sacrifice. Never to be forgotten.
