A very special Happy Mother's Day to my mother who has taught me to be the woman and mother I have become. I could not have done it with out you, literally! And You have been such a great role model and influence in my life. I love you!
This morning, we celebrated Mother's Day with the extended family with breakfast at Cracker Barrel. Then Mom, Dad, Sadie, and I went to church for a wonderful church service. Sadie didn't stay very long in the nursery, but Pops was sweet enough to sit with her and feed her while I got to sit in the service. Thank you Dad! What a wonderful Mother's Day present!
We came home and enjoyed the nice weather on a golf cart ride, but then it became unusually windy. Sadie took a nice long nap and I got to enjoy some down time.
That evening Zach and Stacey came over and we all went to dinner at Chateau Elan. The dinner was delicious, although the service was a little slow(considering there weren't that many people in the restaurant). Sadie's attention span at a restaurant is only about 1 hour, and we were there for about 2. So you know how that goes!
Overall, it was a wonderful first mother's day! I look forward to my next year in motherhood and the adventures it brings!
