Household Planner

I've used a planner ever I can remember. I loved decorating my agenda in middle and high school. I used a planner in college and while I worked. So when I started my life as a stay at home mom, I knew I would still use a planner, I would just need to revamp it a bit. In all honesty, I had a household notebook since Steve and I got married, but I have given more focus to it since I became what I like to call the CEO of de Leon Household <enter smiley face>.

Introducing The de Leon Household Notebook:

I got the actual binder from the Martha Stewart collection at Staples. I love me some Martha Stewart!

When you open the binder, I have a couple list pads I found at TJ Maxx for "To Buy" and "To Do."
I keep a small three hole punch in the front for any loose papers. Then comes two pouches of stickers and tabs. Sadie and I have been watching the Disney Princess movies lately, so I'm loving the Princess stickers.

Here is a month view spread for September. What can I say, I love color.
My calendar pages are from I Heart Organizing. I add a view extra stickers for decoration.

Here is a weekly spread with my Martha Stewart bookmark in the middle.

Next section is finances. I keep track of our spending in an Numbers spreadsheet as we spend each month, so this is just the bill paying check list.

The third section is a bit misc. right night, but works for me. I have our weekly household chores sheet... I made this myself...

... and a sheet reminding me what to clean up before a House Showing while our house in the market.

The next section is Sadie and it just has all her medical paperwork for our routine visits. There are quite a few in the first first years of life, so I find it easier to keep it in my notebook than in my files at this time.

Finally, the last section is notes. I found this pretty paper at the Dollar Store:-)

I also have this cute little chevron note pad. It's more out than in my planner, but always near. I use this to write my shopping list/sale items for the week to match up coupons. It's easier to just grab this pad and take it to the store than the whole notebook.

Here is a look at how I store all my pens.

And these are my favorite pens to use. Thank you PaperMate:-)

Now you've had a sneak peak in my household notebook. Do you keep a planner/notebook?
