Weekend Recap

We had a wonderful, relaxing weekend. Friday night, Steve and I had our at home date night. After we put Sadie to put, we got comfortable on our couch and watched the movie "We're the Millers." If you haven't seen it, you need to immediately! I haven't laughed that hard in quite a while. Great movie.

Saturday, we went to the park in the morning. It was a little wet, but we dried things off for Sadie as best as we could. It didn't bother her one bit. Steve got a work out in while Sadie and I had fun at the play set. Sadie took a wonderful 2 hour nap when we got home and we decided to have some people over to watch the GA/FL game. Steve ran to the store and got some items to grill out. We had a great time and the weather was beautiful. Sadie's little "boyfriend" came over and they had a blast playing together. We also had a friend that was dog sitting and brought over this two small dogs. They were adorable and very well behaved. Not only did the kids love them, but so did Tank!

Sunday, we spent most the morning around the house. Steve washed the cars while I did some couponing. Sadie took an almost 3 hour nap that day, which is unheard of in our house. I think the time change must have thrown her off. We took her to the park after that to get her outside. She is getting so brave, but still loves the swings the best.

It was a wonderful low key weekend that we haven't had in a while. It was much needed. We are looking forward to a getaway to Lake Hartwell next weekend with friends and family.
