{five} on friday

It is the last Friday in 2013. I cannot believe it. Literally, I feel like I need to pinch myself. Anyone else feel this way? This is also our last full Friday in our very first home. Next week the movers will be here packing everything up. Talk about time flying.

I am linking up with the girls as they host {five} on friday. Click the button below for the link.

We've had a lot going on this week since we hosted Christmas, but I will save that for the next post. For this post, I would like to reflect on our top 5 moments from 2013.

{one} Steve came home from deployment!!

This is absolutely number one! Best moment of the year by far! After nine long months of him being gone right after our first child was born, I finally felt like my heart was full again.

{two} Napa Valley/Sonoma Trip.

We took this trip right after Steve got back from deployment, over the 4th of July. We went with my parents, brother, and his fiancé(now she's my sister-in-law). It was one of the best trips we've ever taken, even with a baby! I would recommend this trip to anyone that likes wine!

{three} Second Honeymoon

Steve and I went on a second honeymoon in late July/early August to Punta Cana, Dominican Republic. It was so nice to have one week to just ourselves after he was gone for so long. Although I actually ended up getting sick on the trip, I still consider it one of the most amazing trips. Probably because the resort we stayed at was so amazing.

{four} Myrtle Beach

We also took a trip to the North Myrtle Beach area with Steve's family. It was so nice and relaxing and wonderful spending time with his parents and sister-in-law.

{five} Sadie Turned One!

I love to host and plan. We had a fantastic Pink Safari First Birthday Party! It was so much fun to see her play with friends and eat cake!

{Bonus} Hosting Christmas

I love to plan and host and plan. Did I say that already? I was so excited to host Christmas this year! We had such a wonderful time with Steve's family here and my parents joined us also. I will share photos in another post, but it was so nice to host one Christmas in our very first home before moving.
