White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies

I received a KitchenAid for Christmas, but left it packed up until we moved to Virginia. I am so excited about it and I have used it 3 times already in 4 days. Tonight, I made White Chocolate Macadamia Nut Cookies. I found the recipe on Pinterest from Allrecipes.com. I must say not only were they super easy with my new KitchenAid, but also super delicious. Sadie and Steve both approved:-)

Ingredients:

1/2 cup butter
3/4 cup white sugar
1 egg
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
8 oz white chocolate, chopped (I used white chocolate chips)
6.5 oz jar macadamia nuts, chopped (I only had a 3 oz bag on hand)

Directions(Adjusted to how I made them).

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F.

In a medium bowl(or KitchenAid Mixer), cream together the butter and sugar. Stir in the egg and vanilla. Mix in the flour, baking soda and salt. Finally, mix in the white chocolate and nuts.

Drop the cookies by heaping tablespoons onto a greased cookie sheet(I use parchment paper and PAM for Baking because I'm paranoid about cookies sticking), about 2 inches apart.

Bake for 8-10 minutes, until lightly browned.

Enjoy!
