In fact, I've been traveling! Sadie and I took that LONG plane ride and arrive in Atlanta, GA back in the beginning of July to visit family. We have enjoyed our stay and still have over a week left to enjoy. In the midst of all the traveling, shopping, and family fun, I thought I would bring you an update! It'll be a bit random, but hopefully worth your while.
Since being here, we made the big gender reveal and name announcement. We are pretty exciting to be tying up the score in our family!
Everything Balm. I found this at Target and it's made my Zoe Organics. I have horribly chapped lips. Having a hypothyroid, my lips are chronically chapped. When I am pregnant, they always get worse. Nothing has seemed to work. I've been using this Everything Balm for a little over a week now and I have noticed a HUGE difference. Not only that, but it truly works on EVERYTHING. Sadie had a bug bite on her foot and Benadryl spray just wasn't helping. Finally, I rubbed some of the balm on it, and the next morning the redness was completely gone and she hasn't complained of it since.
Makeup. Oh, the makeup. Thank you Sephora. We have decent makeup brands at a nearby Exchange in Korea, but nothing like Sephora. I went a little crazy, but I am now stocked up. Isn't it funny how much new makeup can make your face feel fresher. One of my favorite lines is Urban Decay. I have had the NAKED2 palate for quite a while now and it was running low. I decided to make a switch for the NAKED3. It has more pink undertones and so far I LOVE it for daytime looks. Considering I don't go out at night much anymore, it's perfect for me! I also picked up the NAKED flush contour palate and I LOVE it. At first I was worried the bronzer was going on a little heavy, but it blends really well. And I really love the way the highlight brightens up my face around my eyes.
My mother-in-law and sister-in-law are in town for a visit, so we have been enjoying some girls days. What else to do than Shop?! Yesterday, we stopped by Nordstroms Rack and I was SO happy with my finds. I picked up a Betsy Johnson overnight/travel bag for over half off and a pair of Sam Edelman flats for 60% off! They are seriously the MOST comfortable flats I have ever tried on. I can't wait to put both to use!
I'm asking for your help. I am looking at the Britax B Ready stroller to buy for our upcoming baby. Sadie is walking a lot now, but I still want to have the option to stick her in the stroller and either wear the baby or have the baby's carseat attached to the stroller as well. I really love that it can switch back and forth between the different attachments. However, I have not been able to find this stroller in store ANYWHERE. I just want to be able to look at it in person. We will probably end up ordering off Amazon and have it mailed directly to Korea, but I'd love to see it first. So, I'm asking for personal reviews. If you own one, what do you think about it? Any regrets?! I'd love to hear it all!
That must be so fun to be having such a nice long visit with your family - enjoy the last week! Girls days are the best as are those naked palettes.
