Hand Soap

I am in full swing nesting mode right now. Our little nest is getting a complete overhaul. Organized spaces are being re-organized, but that's how it happens right? It's a process. One of the small DIY projects I completed today in approximately 5 minutes was to identify our hand soap in the Kitchen.

You are probably thinking... wait what? Let me explain. At our kitchen sink I have two decorative soap dispensers. One of the left with dish soap in it....

... and one of the right with hand soap in it. I know which is which, but when we have guests over, they are always confused.

Obviously, the dish soap container cannot be labeled because of the cut up glass it is made of; however, the hand soap dispenser has a nice flat surface... perfect for one of my favorite things on this planet... a Label:-) See - that word, just makes me smile.

Now, if I had a really cool Silhouette machine, I would so make a vinyl label to fit perfectly on there... but I don't. However, I do have a really great Target with a scrap booking section. So, I choose some silver lettering for $0.99 and called it a day!

Once I got home, I simply placed the lettering on the soap dispenser(I wiped it down and dried it first to insure it would stick).

... And Voila! Now my guests know which is the hand soap... and hopefully, by process of elimination can figure out which one is dish soap(although they won't be doing dishes anyway!)

Anyone else have any small DIY projects lately that make them smile? I'd love to hear your comments!

Until next time,

Kacie
