Here is the before:
First thing I do was clear out the pantry entirely.
I did leave a couple of things on the top wired shelf (not pictured) because they were a little heavy and being 9 months pregnant, I didn't think it was the best idea to try to bring those down. I wiped everything down and swept the floor.
I then went through EVERYTHING that was in the closet. I threw away a lot, I have a large box in the garage to be sent to Goodwill, and the rest was sorted into piles to be placed back in the pantry.
Each basket got new labels, and the order of the baskets changed too. The items I used the most were placed in the most obvious spots and those that don't get used quite as often went to the bottom. Here's a closer look at those fantastic labels:-)
I actually made them through Pages on my mac, printed them on card stock paper, cut them out, laminated them, and cut them out again.
I also bought two more things: An over the door shoe hanger and a metal hanger for the broom/mop.
It wasn't a huge transformation, and I didn't spend a lot of money(about $10 total), but it made a huge difference to me. I love opening the door and looking in there at my organized bliss:-)
I hope you enjoyed my laundry pantry redo, and come back soon, because my next blog will be the big nursery reveal!
Until next time,
Kacie
