Canvas Mixers

For Christmas I gave my Aunt Wendy a Canvas Mixers voucher. Canvas Mixers is a place in Braselton, GA that offers a painting class in a group session while enjoying your friends. There is one instructor and 20-30 "students" all painting the same piece of art. What makes it so great is the BYOB part. Yes, thats right, we got to enjoy our wine while painting and boy did we!

I am not going to lie, when we first walked in, I got a little nervous. We were the first ones there. Wendy was holding her bottle of wine and the instructors gave us instructions on where to get our aprons and to grab a seat. They didn't mention anything about the wine. We sat in front of blank canvas's and could see the paint in the corner of the room; however, no brushes were in sight. I briefly thought, I hope the BYOB didn't mean "bring your own brush." Fortunately, two more ladies walked in with their wine in tow. Relieved, we popped the cork and toasted to the evening!

We had so much fun chatting, painting and sipping on wine for over three hours. Although neither one of us is an artist, I think both of them turned out pretty good! We loved it and cannot wait to do it again.
