Sadie's Half Birthday!

Miss Sadie is celebrating her half birthday today! She is 6 months old. I cannot believe that  she has been in our lives for this long. I miss the newborn days, but I also love seeing her grow and discover new things. At her check up today, she weighed 15 lbs 14 oz- in the 50th percentile. She was 26 1/4 inches- she grew over two inches in two months and jumped from the 25th percentile to the 75th in height! Her head circumference was 17 inches. She continues to have a big Earon head in the 75th percentile:-) Poor baby had to get three shots today, but the nurse was awesome and gave them to her in 10 seconds flat. A few screams tears and then she was fast asleep in the car on the way home. She is such a trooper.

I give a pretty thorough update each week, but she is currently cutting her first tooth. It is finally starting to show! She is in 6 month clothes, starting to wear some 6-9 month clothes. She can still fit in size 2 diapers, but I went ahead and moved her to size three since she was on the verge and I ran out of size 2.  She eats about four 6 oz bottles a day and wakes up 1-2 times a night to eat, and has two meals a day. Fruit/Oatmeal in the morning and a Veggie in the evening. I have given her a sippy cup, although she can't figure out how to tip it correctly yet. She loves taking water from the end of my straw, so I may try a straw sippy cup soon. She is just such a precious little girl. She loves to laugh and loves to see new people. She is starting to look more and more like a little girl and not a newborn anymore! 

I had to add this one. Sadie is still working on her balance and started to topple over. Gigi saved the day, but that face was priceless!
