It has been a while since I have done a resolution update, but I am proud to announce that I am still going strong! Here is where I am at:
1. To get Sadie on a better schedule. I am a proud mommy as Sadie is taking 3 naps a day, 5 bottles, a day, and mostly sleeping through the night. She still gets up one time a night on some nights. But I'm okay with that - I enjoy my time with her then and know it won't last for much longer. I am excited because today we Spring Forward for Day Light Savings. This means that Sadie woke up at 7:30am instead of 6:30am. She normally goes to bed around 7pm, but with the sun out longer, she will now go to bed around 8am. I am pretty happy about this:-)
2. To make healthier choices. I am still on weight watchers and have lost 14 lbs since January 1! I have dropped two sizes and am very happy right now. I still would like to lose a little more, but I am back to feeling comfortable in my own body. I feel like I choose healthier choices when we eat out. We also cook at home a lot more and eat a lot of veggies. I hope this rubs off on Sadie as she is now starting to eat solids!
3. To run a 5K. This has taken my a little longer than expected because of traveling, but I am still working on it! I planned to run one this past weekend, but did not due to... you guessed it.. traveling! I am currently running on a treadmill in our basement and plan to take it outside this week with this nice weather. I can run for 28 minutes straight at a speed of 5mph on the treadmill, so I am very pleased. I am hoping to run the Run for the Roses 5K in Athens hosted by the UGA chapter of AOII.
4. To bring my husband home! I still have not figured out a way to bring him home early, but the good news is we are in the final stretch! I am getting excited and hoping to make it down to Savannah soon to get the house ready for his return!
