47 Weeks

So it hit me this morning that we will have a 1-year-old in 5 short weeks! I'm not ready to have a 1-year-old. Considering we have two trips planned and a wedding shower to throw, those 5 weeks are going to go by super fast! I have ordered Sadie's adorable birthday outfit and the party planning is underway!

Sadie has most definitely blossomed into a daddy's girl. She reaches for him anytime, anywhere with the cutest little grin on her face. Steve dressed her for the first time today and I have to say, he did a pretty good job!

She now has 8 full teeth. She is great at eating, that is with what she wants to eat. We may have a little bit of a picky eater on our hands. Anyone who knows me, knows I had this coming. She did try chicken for the first time tonight. She took a few bites and then decided Tank could enjoy the rest.

She started purposefully walking with her push walker this week and at one point actually let go and started clapping while standing on her own. I am so worried that she will begin walking while Steve and I are in the Dominican Republic! I told Gigi to 1. Not incourage the walking in any way, and 2. Not tell me if she does walk.

She is also talking up a storm. She says Mama, Dada, Baba, nanana(I think this means "no"), and lots of Ahhhs. She can also say "Teh" which means "Tank."

Mommy and Daddy had our first date night out in 10 Months on Friday. Steve had a work dinner and we were able to visit with friend's afterwards. Sadie had a babysitter that I found on Care.com and she did great! Our babysitter was wonderful! I was so relieved and so happy that Sadie did so well.

There may be little posting in the next few weeks. Not like I've been posting a lot since Steve has come home. We are heading to Myrtle Beach with Steve's family then off to the Dominican Republic for a 2nd Honeymoon for the two of us. I will fill you in when we return!
