Cricket...

Wow! The days past by after Sadie turns one and I have nothing to post about right? Wrong. Actually we have been very busy and I have a ton to post, but no time!

We had an amazing first birthday party for Sadie and I can't wait to post pictures. It was a pink Safari theme, although the giant Minnie Mouse balloon my brother and his fiancé brought stole the show!

We also made new friends and Sadie has had a couple playdates with her new little boyfriend, Mr. P!(I am keeping his name anonymous for the sake of his family's privacy). Mr. P's mom and dad were nice enough to invite us to the Children's Museum in Savannah with guest passes. It is an outdoor museum and was pretty hot that day, but Sadie had fun.

Finally, what has been consuming most of our time is our home. We have been working hard to get our house in tip-top shape. Steve received his new orders last week and it is bitter-sweet to tell you that we will be moving to Richmond, VA (Fort Lee) in January! Yes, you heard me right, that's only 5 months away. So we kicked it into high gear and finally chose a realtor this morning. The house looks amazing, if I do say so myself(I'll post photos soon). This is going to be one big adventure.

So now that we are settled for a few days, I hope to catch up on my posts this week. Sadie is down to one nap a day, so it's either during that one nap or after bedtime that I get a chance to hop on here. I'll be back soon!
