Adventures with Coupons

I'm getting the hang of it. I really am. I understand the stockpile concept of buying bulk when you get a really good deal so that you won't need to run out and buy it at an awful price when you need it. However, having a small small house and being so close to moving, this limits me. I did get a great deal at Walgreens yesterday.

All of this is worth $34.65. I paid $16.17. Win!

Here's how:

  • Ziploc Bags on sale for 2/$5
    • I used $1/2 Manufacturer Coupon  = $1.50 each
  • Scott Bath Tissue 16 Rolls on sale for $7.99
    • Used in store coupon for $2.00 off
    • Used Manufacturer Coupon for $1 off = $4.99
  • Gevalia Mocha Latte- I've been wanting to try these- was on sale for $5.99
    • Used in store coupon for $0.50 off
    • Used Manufacturer Coupon for $1.50 off = $3.99
  • Coffee Mate on sale for 2/$3
    • Used two $1 off Manufacturer Coupons = $0.50 each
  • McCormick Taco Seasoning on sale 2/$1
    • Used in store ad Coupon to get for  = $0.49 each
I am pretty happy with my find, considering we were in desperate need of toilet paper. I was out of Freezer Storage Bags, and the other three things are always being used in this house.

Do any of my followers coupon??
