It's only Tuesday and I feel like I've been smacked hard this week. Sadie has been dealing with a little bit of a running nose for the past week, but seems okay otherwise. Well as of last night, it moved on to Mommy. I don't have time to be sick. I don't have room to be sick. I don't have all my comforts to be sick! So we're sitting in the hotel room now. Sadie is napping and I am waiting for Steve to come home with a hot green tea. I can just feel it breaking up all the congestion.
In the meantime, a lot of great things have also happened. Monday was the Korean holiday Chosok. Think of it as Thanksgiving in Korea. Everything was closed. Even the base was pretty much closed down, which was nice since Steve got the day off. We decided on Sunday evening to take a little hike up one of the nearby mountains.
Steve found out about this route because they raced up in for an Officer PT course one morning. I was thinking, okay it won't be so bad.
WRONG. Well okay, it wasn't bad. Actually I enjoyed it, but it was a workout! There were some steep sections and with a toddler in tow, that's not easy! However; the view at the top made it all worth it. I can't wait to climb more this fall with the weather is cooler.
