Who loves Gilmore Girls?!

Okay ya'll...

I'm about to get ALL mathematical on you...

The revival of Gilmore Girls comes out in 30 DAYS!

There are 7 seasons… 22 episodes each(except season 1 has 21) at approximately 44 minutes each.

Bear with me… I’m going somewhere with this math…

That’s 6,732 minutes.

6,732 minutes that you can spend binging watching ALL 7 seasons before November 25.

Okay…. There’s only 1,440 minutes in ONE day. So it will take you MORE Than 4.5 days STRAIGHT to finish them all.

OOORRRR

You can workout for 630 minutes total… over the course of 21 Days. Paired with clean eating and a milkshake[ish]. Feel GREAT. Look Great. ANNND look fabulous just in time to shove your face on Thanksgiving (Balance, right?!)

HECK… you can even do a workout WHILE watching an episode of Gilmore Girls.

BUUUT Next time you say you don’t have TIME to work out… just think about this simple math :-)

Send me an email when you're ready! CoachKaciedeleon [at] gmail [dot] com.

30 Days to a Healthier Pregnancy

To say this pregnancy has been different would be an understatement! And no, I don't think it is JUST because I'm carrying a boy this time instead of a girl. I think my ACTIONS have a LOT to do with it.
.
I feel so much HEALTHIER. I have MORE energy (ask me again in my 3rd trimester, ha!). I have gained less weight. AND I can still get through a 30 minute workout. smile emoticon

I'm not perfect by any means. I still have my cravings. I still sneak some Starbucks. But for the MOST part I have treated my body differently.
.
When I was pregnant with Sadie, I ate anything. I NEVER worked out. I used pregnancy as an excuse to let myself go.
.
Not this time. This time, I'm using pregnancy as a REASON to stay healthy. To fuel myself with nutrients, superfoods, and vitamins. I work out at least 3-4 times a week and stay active pretty much EVERY day. The picture speaks for itself. On the left I was around 25 weeks pregnant with Sadie. On the right, I am currently 24+ weeks.

.
So I decided to start a 30 Days to a Healthier Pregnancy Group! We will go through 4 weeks of taking care of our bodies, minds, and babies! Each week will be divided into a different category including nutrition, exercise, getting body ready for baby, and getting your home ready for baby.
.
So if you are expecting, I encourage you to join me in these 30 days! It is FREE to you! Let's all get together and SUPPORT each other (no matter what Stage in your pregnancy you are at). We are ALL in this beautiful season together and we should be here to support and lift each other up! Won't you join me??
.
Comment with your email or Message me on Facebook if you are interested! Feel free to share this group with any of your Preggo Friends! We start September 21!

Saturday Breakfast: Whole Wheat Pancakes

When I was younger, I have a special memory of my dad making breakfast on weekends. It was usually French Toast. Mmmmm. With Powdered sugar to top it off.

My dad traveled lot for work and then usually played golf on Saturdays, so I assume it was Sundays that he cooked breakfast, although I can't remember exactly. I don't even remember if it was every weekend, I just know that I loved the times that he did.

So here we are with our own 2-year-old daughter and Steve and I are trying to create the same memory. We typically have a "special" breakfast on Saturdays. Steve and I generally cook it together and we switch it up every so often. Since we've change our lifestyle in eating, we haven't wanted to completely give up our special breakfast. Enter the amazing Whole Wheat Pancake. It has become a Saturday staple in our house and Steve even asks for it. We even eat [one] while on the 21 Day Fix and count it as our Yellow container. It's delicious and I know I'm provided Sadie with the healthiest option there is for a pancake!

Ingredients:

1 1/2 Cups Whole Wheat Flour
1/2 Tbsp. Baking Powder
1/4 tsp. Baking Soda
1 1/2 Tbsp. Honey
1 Egg, 1 Egg White
1 Cup unsweetened Almond Milk(or whatever milk you use)
1/4 Cup Coconut oil, melted

Instructions:

In large bowl, mix together dry ingredients.
Add Eggs and remaining wet ingredients while mixing.
Stir until well combined.
Spray pan with non-stick cooking spray and heat pan on medium.
Pour mixture on pan in desired sized pancakes.
Cook 1-2 minutes until bubbles appear, flip!
Cook additional 2-3 minutes until golden brown. Enjoy!

Makes approximately 6 pancakes, depending on size.

What's a Coach?

I've had some questions lately about Beachbody and the new path I've found as a Coach. Some people don't realize or understand what exactly a Coach is so I wanted to write a quick post about it.

I started as a Coach when I found my love for PiYo. I continued as a coach because of the accountability and passion it gave me. A job that I could stay at home with Sadie, earn an income that will increase overtime, and do it all while pursuing this new passion of mine? I couldn't say no!

So what do I do as a Beachbody Coach?

I help people see the potential they have in themselves to live a healthy life.
I encourage people to be the best they can be.
I strive for progress within myself by being a product of the product.
I invite others to join me in the lifelong journey of healthy living.
I grow my own personal development daily.

I have a dream to one day make enough that Steve is able to retire from the Army without any financial worries. I want to secure Sadie's educational future. I want to travel the world and build our own house to settle down in. These all drive my passion and hard work to succeed as a Coach.

If any of this interests you and you think to yourself, well maybe I could do that too, I encourage you to message me! We all have it in us, you just need to find that desire to succeed.

A large bonus to becoming a coach is also getting a discount on the products that I buy through Beachbody (such as Shakeology). And to all my military friends out there, it seriously is a no brainer for you because Beachbody offers you an amazing deal with your monthly Coach Fees waived!

Think about it and decide if you want to invest in yourself and your future!

Hello April!

I cannot believe it is April already. Seriously. We are a quarter of the way through with 2015. Time is flying by. I have plenty to be counting down to this year, but I also don't want to see the days of Sadie growing WAY too fast.

A lot has happened in the de Leon household in the past couple of days. Monday, Steve and I both started the 21 Day Fix. Steve is continuing with his PT workouts, but doing the meal plan, while I am doing the FIX workouts and the meal plan. Let me just say. The meal plan is not hard. It's pretty basic. Spread your food out and you'll be fine, but I am already struggling with variety within meals. I think I'll be scouring Pinterest for new recipes this afternoon. To me, it's not about being perfect though, it's just about progress. I try not to get caught up in the small details and just choose healthy foods that fuel my body. The workouts, I LOVE. Seriously, who wouldn't love a workout that provides results in only 30 minutes!

Another big thing, is that Steve got a new car. Well new to us. When we first arrived to Korea, we bought Steve a Dawoo Matiz. We named him Sheldon. The car was cute, functional, and GREAT on gas. We shipped my van over here, so this was the car that Steve drove back and forth to work. Some days, he would get stuck in traffic and being in such a small car (Think Smart Car with 4 doors) was starting to suffocate him. We both decided it was time for an upgrade. Fast forward to last night, and Steve is the proud new owner of a 2013 Mustang. Red is his favorite color and I am just so happy for him to have a car that he loves. Cars are his thing. He's happy, I'm happy. Plus it's super cute that Sadie refers to it as "Mustay-in."

Finally, the most exciting news is that we finally booked a family trip! We are going to Guam in 19 days!! It is about a 4 hour flight from here and we will be spending 5 days at a beautiful family friendly hotel called The Pacific Islands Club(PIC). This will actually be the first big vacation that we take only has a family of three without other family with us. I am so excited to spend a few days lounging by the pool and beach and to really focus on our little family. I just know Sadie is going to have a blast.

Once this trip is over, we will be packing up to move a few hours north, but we'll save that blog for another day.

Well that's our life in a nutshell lately. A lot going on to keep us all sane. I hope to share with you a 21 Day Fix Meal Plan printable soon, so check back!

PiYo Results

My 60 Day PiYo Challenge Results are in…. and I am REALLY excited. I started to get a little nervous at the end… I am down 9 lbs and was hoping the scale would move a little more, but then I saw these pictures side by side, and I am SO proud of myself for sticking with it!

In all honesty, I wasn't sure if I wanted to post them online or not, but I want people to know that they are not alone! We all start somewhere and it is NOTHING to be ashamed of... I am proud that I took the initiative to live a healthier and happier life. I am living proof that these programs work! I have truly found a new passion and love for life. These pictures make me want to keep driving forward improving myself AND helping others!

If PiYo can do this to my body, I can’t wait to see what other programs can do when I stick with them! I am starting the 21 Day Fix program on Monday, March 30 with a small group of people. Just 30 minute workouts paired with a portion control meal plan using the best little colorful containers! I can’t forget the Shakeology! Seriously, this delicious dessert of a drink has change my life(and cravings) for good! If you want to join us, please do it! For just 21 Days, we can all motivate and support one another. It only takes 21 Days to make or break a habit…. maybe you’ll find your passion for life too?

Happy Friday!

I can't believe it's Friday already! But I sure am happy that it is! Steve comes home from being in the field today! We've missed him and it will be so nice to have him back!

On another note, if you missed my last post, announced that I will be starting a Facebook group called Organize Your Health. It's 15 days of tips and challenges to get your health and fitness organized! My two favorite things combined in one! Message me on Facebook to join!

Finally, lets get to that Friday Five. I previously lived in Savannah, where I gained my love for St. Patricks Day. So here are five Pinterest inspirations for St. Patty's!

[ one ]

One of the easiest ways to decorate for each holiday and season is through a printable. There are so many offered online and all you have to do is get one frame, print, and switch it out as the Holiday approaches. Easy peasy. This one is a favorite for St. Patty's.

[ two ]

Kids love giving and received little gifts. How cute is this little treat to send to school with your little one on St. Patty's?

[ three ]

I could totally see me painting my nails this color for the day. The gold definitely makes it not look so tacky!

[ four ]

This would totally make my day if I bit into a cupcake and found this surprise instead. I think Sadie would go crazy!

[ five ]

Finally, you can't go through the day without wearing green. This might have to make its way into my closet by next year. I love that its subtle. People might try and pinch you then BAM, you are wearing green!

Don't forget to message me to join my Organize your Health Challenge Group on Facebook!

Organize Your Health Challenge

I love organizing. It's in my blood. I pretty much have anxiety if something in my house isn't organized. Who's with me on this? Okay, maybe not everyone, but I'm pretty sure we can all agree that having things organized makes life a lot easier.

If you've been following along, then you know that another passion of mine I recently found is health and fitness. Why wouldn't I want this part of my life organized? It just makes sense.

I think a lot of people have trouble with this part when it comes to fitness. If you can stay organized with your fitness, you are much more likely to stick with it in the long run!

So I decided to create a Facebook challenge group that combines these two! The challenge will start on Monday, March 16 and go for 15 Days. Join me in getting your fitness and health organized! It will be a perfect start to Spring and set you up for success for the month of April. If you are interested, send me a message on Facebook. It's an absolutely free group and there's even a little prize at the end for the person with the most participation!

I hope you'll join me!

I Want it Now!

And now you can have it!

We live in a "want it now" world. It's just our mentality. And while I whole heartedly believe that the wait makes it better, this is one instance when I disagree.

When you decide to make a decision to change your health and work on your fitness, the last thing you want to do is wait for those workouts to come in the mail. You are usually ready to go then! Well now you can.

Beachbody just released its all new Beachbody on Demand (BOD). All you need is a Club Membership and wifi to have access to 16 different workout programs.

Not only are there already 16 FULL workout programs loaded to the On Demand site, but there are 7 more insider access workouts for you to sample before you buy.

Okay, here's what I think is the best part. What if you already bought a fitness program on DVD? Later this month, it will be available in your On Demand Library. You won't have to take those DVDs everywhere you travel anymore.

Did I also mention that with this Club Membership, you also get personalized meal plans and a 10% discount on anything in the store (including Shakeology!).

This is such an amazing feature and I am so excited about it! It is such a great value and is taking Beachbody ahead in strides!

If you're not a Shakeology drinker yet, there's a Challenge Pack available for this that is an AWESOME deal!

If you want anymore information about it, please feel free to comment below, message me on Facebook, or shoot me an e-mail at Kaciewdeleon@gmail.com

Becoming a Coach

It's been one month now since I made the decision to become a BeachBody Coach. I figured it's about time to give you a little insight as to why I made that decision.

If you've been following along, you read about the beginning of my weight loss story here.

In January, I took the plunge and ordered PiYo from Beachbody. I ordered the plan online on my own and didn't actually have a coach when I started. Within days of starting, I knew that I was going to love this workout.

After doing some online research, I stumbled across a beautiful blog. I was immediately drawn to this diamond elite BeachBody coach's positive outlook on health, fitness, and life. I sent an e-mail to her to find out more information about this "coaching" thing, and to be honest, I was fully expecting to get an automated computer response, but what I got was so much more than that. Not only did she respond personally, but quickly. She was honest, supportive, and motivating. You can almost hear the passion coming through her e-mail. I knew right then that I wanted her to be my coach and even more so that I wanted in.

I took a few days to talk it over with Steve and make sure it was a decision I wanted and that I could devote my time to it. Each day, my want for coaching just grew stronger, and so I signed up. I wanted to inspire people like she was inspiring me.

I immediately dove into all the material that BeachBody provides you as coach. There is so much information and supplies provided to you, it is amazing. Over the past month, I have come to learn how truly passionate the company is not only about its coaches, but its customers and the well being of people in general. Working for a company like this makes you want to "go" to work each day.

So I got to "work" and announced myself as a Coach. In reality, my "work" consists of me working out daily, drinking this amazingly delicious drink, reading books for personal developing, and just showing people all that Beachbody can do. My Coach has been amazing every step of the way. She has helped keep my accountable of my goals and health as well as getting started with the Coaching.

A few nights ago, I lay in bed and I said my prayers. I asked God if he would give me a sign to show me if this company is the right direction for me. I wanted to know that pursuing this new passion of mine really was in his plan for me. The next morning, I woke up to a text message from one of my very dear friends(and bridesmaids) saying that she was "inspired" by me and ordered PiYo.

Thank you God! I don't think His sign could have been any more clear.

So here I am today. Shouting from the roof top that I am BeachBody Coach. I have chosen a life of health and happiness. This doesn't mean I don't have slip ups and eat pizza occasionally, but it means that I am working hard to better myself every day. And I am here to help you, motivate you, and answer any questions for you if you chose to do it too. And I hope you will, because I promise... like me, you will have NO regrets.

Get Fit

Did you see that little sneak peak I gave you in my last fitness post? There was a notebook sitting on the treadmill. Yes, that's it. The OCD person within me created a fitness notebook. A lot of people write down their workouts at the gym, well I just do it with some crazy organized style:-)

I found these colorfully organized printables from Clean Life and Home. I was able to download and print them instantly.
I also picked up an A5 Arc Notebook. I actually got the Martha Stewart version at Staples.

Note: If you notice, I didn't want to pay $40 for the specific type of hole punch until I knew this was going to work for me. So for the time being, I glued the pages onto the pre-punch pages. I'm now waiting for a good sale/coupon deal to buy the hole punch. The one reason why I got this notebook, is because I like that it can bend all the way around and lay flat, unlike a filofax or 3 ring binder.

So here's a peak inside my "Get Fit" journal.

Can't head to the gym without my journal, water, and Pandora.

The opening page with my personal trainers card.

A little bit of inspiration.

Sorry for the white out... I just might be comfortable enough to share my before and after... one day!
A page to record my measurements and weight loss progress.

Each month has a homemade divider (part of the download) and set of goals.

Monthly calendar. I love planning out my workouts for the week so that each part of my body is getting equal attention.

Even though this section is titled "meal plan," I actually use to write down what I eat. I meal plan on our kitchen calendar. I like that I don't have to count calories, but I still can hold myself accountable to what I eat.

Each workout is logged on its own page. I love that I am able to keep track of the workouts my trainer has me do, so that I can do them in the future on my own.

The final tab is titled "notes" but I use it for misc. I place different workouts in here, as well as tips from my personal trainer.

So there you have it.  What do you think?

Do you track your fitness habits? How do you write it all down?
